Life in the 50's

I'm going to run away to a free country. Can you help me find it?

A country Where the poorest man is richer than the richest king in any other country. And it doesn't need change.

Where all illegal drugs are free because there's not any. So there's no stealing, fighting or killing for them. Where there's few bars and there's a Church in every neighborhood.

Where I could find a place where there's no jails or prisons because there's no one that breaks laws and there's no courts or judges or lawyers. Think of all the tax money I could save.and there's low income taxes there. But we have everything we need that taxes buys.

A place where no one has to work. But we want to. And it would be the work we love doing, for a boss we like. Where only one in the family needs to work forty hours a week. Then have enough money to send all the kids to college. And there's enough money for medicial needs for the family. Still there's enough money for a family vacation. And to own a house and a car.

A country where when we went on vacation we wouldn't lock our doors and everything would be in tack when we came back.

Where we could spend our extra time and money getting rich, or not.

This isn't enough, I want more.

Where there's only one fat person in town. And it aint me.
I want rosy cheeks and shiny hair. Food that I can trust to not be treated with things I know nothing about. I can work and not be weary and run and not faint. Water that I can drink. Water that I don't have to pay for three times over. Once for the treatment and once for the having and again for the bottle.

A country where I can enjoy grocery shopping and have money left over for a movie. A movie I can trust to be a good one although I never heard of the movie before. And a place where a boy pays for the date and he doesn't do rape.

A place where depression is never heard of. Nor murder Nor divorice.

Where politions are honest and don't need my money. And doctors and church ministers love me. And so do my parents.

I know such a place exist becuse I use to live in one. It was the United States of America. It got lost in years of not so long ago. Now here I am looking for that country. So where do I go?

That world I described was my world.  I lived it.  I'm sorry you didn't.  I'd like to give you that kind of world. You can even have a better world, I'll keep posting about how.  Which system works and which ones don't is in history.  It took me two years of research to write about it.

It's hard to believe I had it so good growing up. Yet we were poor when we weren't rich. The middle class did well then but I was never middle class.
